What is Pink Golf Day?
Pink Golf Day is a great way for the golfing community to pay tribute to those affected by breast cancer within the community.

Golf clubs from all across Australia will ‘pink up’ to raise funds and awareness for Breast Cancer Network Australia (BCNA).

When and where is it being celebrated?
The official Pink Golf Day will be celebrated on the 28th October 2012 but you can hold your club’s Pink Golf Day at any time during October or November to fit your calendar.

Pink Golf Days will be held at golf clubs across Australia. Participation is open to any club from any state.

When can we register for the event?
Registrations are open online now and are essential to participate in Pink Golf Day, Registrations are only open to the first 500 clubs, so Register Today!

What is the cost of hosting a Pink Golf Day?
There is no actual cost to the golf club to participate. Upon registering your club, you will be sent a free pack that contains a range of promotional items required to run your event.

What is the final date to place an order?
Registrations remains open to all golf clubs as events can be held throughout October and November. If you're planning on hosting an event Register Today!

How will the Pink Golf Day material be sent to me?
All Pink Golf Day material will be delivered via courier. Please note: packs cannot be sent to a PO Box address.

Will someone need to be available to sign for the delivery?
Yes. All materials will be delivered by courier and will require a person to be present to sign for the delivery.

How will the money raised support people affected by breast cancer?
Money raised from the event will help BCNA continue to ensure that Australians diagnosed with breast cancer and their families receive the very best information, treatment, care and support possible, no matter who they are or where they live. How do I bank my fundraising?
There are a few option to bank your fundraising to BCNA;

-  credit card to your individual Pink Golf Day event page
-  cheque or money order made out to Breast Cancer Network Australia and sent to Breast Cancer Network Australia, 293 Camberwell Rd, Camberwell VIC 3124
-  electronic transfer to BCNA's account BSB 083-155 Account Number 53-214-2990
-  direct bank deposit to BCNA's bank account BSB 083-155 Account Number 53-214-2990

What other activities can we hold to raise additional funds and awareness for Breast Cancer Network Australia?

  • Your club can run a special pink themed event or tournament with all or part of the entry fee going to BCNA
  • One dollar per tee can go to BCNA
  • Pros can give special skills workshops or group lessons and donate a portion to BCNA
  • Hold an “Invite your Mum” or a “Family” day with games and activities
  • Serve pink drinks at the club house bar for a gold coin donation
  • Hold a special 'pink' morning or afternoon tea for your members / the public for gold coin donations
  • Private courses might want to open to the public that day with donations to BCNA
  • Sausage Sizzle - don't forget to talk to your local Bakers Delight for help with bread
  • Include a breast cancer survivor member as a special part of your day
  • Arrange a prize for the most creative pink outfit on the day
  • Use our flute core pink lady cut-outs as Tee markers on the day and put them around the clubhouse
  • Approach you local newspaper with a story about the event you will be holding
  • Be creative and think of your own ways to raise money and have fun!
  • Raffles - local businesses and restaurants can be a great source of raffle prize donations
